Walt Disney World is conducting another dining test, allowing guests at the Backlot Express or Fantasmic to order their meal via a mobile app called “Express Order App.” Until May 4, diners at Backlot Express can have their meal ready to pickup at the counter, either on a tray for dining in or in a bag to go. From May 5-May 12, guests can get their meals delivered to the table or in a bag to go.
Through May 12 at Fantasmic, diners can use the app to order their food and drinks, as well as select merchandise items, while they are seated during the pre-show. On evenings with two shows, this option is only available during the first show. The Dining Plan, coupons and gift cards cannot be used to pay for these orders. Apple Pay and credit cards may be used.
