Disney College Program to Restart at Disney World

In another move that makes us wonder if Walt Disney World is getting ready to increase capacity in the theme parks, participants in the 2020 Disney College Program have just been invited to return as soon as next month – even if their program was ended early or was suspended.

Applications for a new program will open on May 5, 2021.

An exciting change is that the eligibility requirements have been modified to allow those who missed out last time the ability to apply, including people who graduated while the program was suspended.

The new eligibility rules also state that students must currently be enrolled in college or taking college classes. They need to have completed at least one semester or graduated within 24 months of the application posting date.

Those who join the Disney College Program now will be the first to live in the new Flamingo Crossings Village complex. Disney is modifying the occupancy of these units and will allow vaccinated participants the opportunity to live with other fully vaccinated participants.
