In a not-so-surprising move, the price for Disney Genie+ will now vary based on the date you plan on using it, similar to the tiered theme park ticket structure currently in effect at Disney World and Disneyland.
At Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Genie+ will vary in price based on the date a guest is visiting. Similar to theme park tickets, throughout the year, prices may be lower on less busy days and higher during peak periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Since the launch of Disney Genie+, the cost has been $15 per person, per day and as an example, the price to add the service for dates in October 2022 ranges from $15 to $22 per person, per day. This is in addition to the cost of theme park tickets, should you choose to purchase it. It’s important to note that Disney Genie+ isn’t a required purchase, guests can still use the free-of-charge Disney Genie.
Guests visiting Walt Disney World are not able to add Disney Genie+ prior to their arrival, so all guests will need to check the My Disney Experience app for same-day purchase pricing.
In addition, the pricing on select Individual Lightning Lane has adjusted, i.e. the price of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance now ranges from $15 to $22.
