If you’re heading to Walt Disney World or Disneyland this month, there are some fun new treats to look forward to!
During the month of June, look for the Pecan Turtle Gourmet Apple pictured above. A Granny Smith apple is doused in caramel then dipped in milk chocolate. It is then embellished with pieces of chopped pecans and a caramel drizzle. You’ll find this gourmet apple at Marceline’s Confectionary in the Downtown Disney District, Candy Palace and Hunny Spot in Disneyland park, and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park.
Tip: You can ask the Cast Member to slice these huge apples for you making them easier to share!
New Cheshire Cat Tails are now available at Cheshire Café in Magic Kingdom Park. The “tails” are a delicious pastry twist that’s filled with chocolate chips and drizzled with pink and purple icing – just like the Cheshire Cat’s stripes!
Just in time for the scorching summer weather in Orlando, shaved ice is now on the menu at the Harambe Fruit Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in refreshing watermelon, piña colada, or mango-passion fruit.
A new Cars 3-inspired cupcake has rolled into Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Strawberry cake is topped with vanilla buttercream frosting and a white chocolate Lightning McQueen. Find this tasty treat at ABC Commissary, The Trolley Car Café, Rosie’s All-American Café, Catalina Eddie’s, and Fairfax Fare.
You’ll also find two new cupcakes at Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Perfect for the Florida summer, the Key Lime Cupcake is a graham cracker-flavored cupcake with key lime filling and topped with key lime buttercream frosting then trimmed with graham cracker crumbs. The Cookies and Cream Cupcake is vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling topped with cookies and cream buttercream frosting. It’s then garnished with mini chocolate chips and cookie ears. For Father’s Day on June 18, guests can look for a special vanilla cupcake with peanut butter filling and icing topped with caramel crispy pearls.
“At The Ganachery in Disney Springs, a new made-to-order S’mores treat is now available. Served on a house-made graham cracker, house-made vanilla bean marshmallow, salted caramel ganache and topped with a piece of custom dark chocolate ganache.”
The new Berry Whip at Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is perfect for a hot summer’s day while you relax and take in the beautiful view.
