If you’re a fan of Disney Pixar’s Cars 3 and you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this week, you’re in luck because new characters from the upcoming film are making a pit stop at Disney Springs.
The ‘Road to the Races’ nationwide tour rolls out March 23-26, 2017 at the Marketplace in Disney Springs and there will be all kinds of fun to be had for the entire family. Guests can look forward to an extended sneak peek of the film as well as photo opportunities with the three life-size character cars; Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez, and Jackson Storm.
In addition, there will be an interactive play area, a Dole Refueling Station where guests can sample high-octane smoothies, and an opportunity to take part in a racer pit crew tire-changing activity. NASCAR will also be on hand to share the history and science behind their iconic brand. Be on the lookout for Cars merchandise and special menu items at select food and beverage locations, plus a DJ dance party.
The tour will take place in the former Marketplace Bus Loop near Once Upon A Toy. Guests can visit Thursday, March 23 from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. then Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. On the final day, Sunday, March 26, guests can join in on the experience from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Cars 3 hits theatres June 16, 2017.
