Disney’s beloved Prep & Landing franchise is back to spread more holiday cheer. Today, the official trailer for Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol debuted, marking the elves’ first return in more than a decade. The Emmy-winning animated series follows elite Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne as they prepare homes around the world for Santa’s annual visit. This latest installment promises a flurry of festive fun, with new mishaps and heartwarming moments as the duo tackles their biggest mission yet.
The special premieres on Disney Channel on November 27 at 7:00 p.m. EST/PST, the night before Thanksgiving, and will begin streaming on Disney+ the following day, November 28. Fans eager to relive past adventures can now stream all previous specials exclusively on Disney+: Prep & Landing (2009), Operation: Secret Santa (2010), and Naughty vs. Nice (2011).
Following its Disney Channel and streaming debuts, The Snowball Protocol will make its ABC network premiere on November 30 at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST, airing after encore broadcasts of the first two specials, which begin at 8:00 p.m. The new special will also join Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas lineup on December 13, continuing the franchise’s holiday television tradition.
Disney is also expanding the Prep & Landing universe with new Chibi Tiny Tales and How Not to Draw shorts, premiering across YouTube, Disney Channel, and Disney+ later this month. Additionally, a brand-new single from the special, Where Would We Be Without Magee, arrives on digital music platforms on November 21, and a limited-edition merchandise collection from Toddland will launch soon at toddland.com.
The returning cast includes Dave Foley as Wayne, Sarah Chalke as Magee, and Derek Richardson as Lanny, alongside newcomers Manny Jacinto, Dulcé Sloan, Danny Pudi, and Christopher Swindle as Santa. Produced by Disney Television Animation, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol brings holiday magic – and a little mischief – back to screens this November.
