Disney Store and five other major retailers have announced that they will stop using on-call shift scheduling. With this way of scheduling, employees have to call into work before a shift to find out if they have to come in, making child care arrangements and other plans difficult. 15 retailers recently received a letter jointly written by 15 attorneys general, requesting that they end this practice. العب واربح The other 9 companies (American Eagle, Payless, Coach, Forever 21, Vans, Justice for Girls, BCBG Maxazria, Tilly’s Inc., and Uniqlo) each say they have recently ended on-call scheduling or have never used it.
Eric T. I am pleased that these companies have stepped up to the plate and agreed to stop using this unfair method of scheduling.”
All 15 retailers have locations in Central Florida. According to Schneiderman, the new agreement will benefit an estimated 50,000 workers.
