Disney has a special treat in store for guests with a need for speed: both Disney California Adventure and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be showing a preview of Disney•Pixar’s upcoming feature, Cars 3.
Directed by Brian Fee (storyboard artist of the two previous franchise films), the film centers around Cars hero Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) as he struggles to compete with a new generation of high-performance racers. To do this, he will need to enlist the help of race technician Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo), while looking to the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet for inspiration.
Guests visiting Disney California Adventure will be able to catch a preview of the film, complete with 3-D glasses and in-theater effects, starting May 12th at the Bug’s Life Theater. Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios can stop by the One Man’s Dream attraction, where starting May 26th an advance screening of a segment from the film will be showing, alongside displayed artwork and maquettes.
