Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park at Walt Disney World is preparing to celebrate its 30th Anniversary in April!
On the water park’s 30th anniversary on April 1, Disney says a high-energy DJ will spin catchy tunes on the deck near the Polar Pub. Guests can enjoy fun interactions with Mickey and Minnie decked out in their winter attire. Special digital frozen-photo frames to highlight guests’ memories from that day will also be available. There will also be snowman bowling and character-themed tubes for floating down Cross Country Creek, too.
As with many of Disney’s celebrations, this party isn’t just for the day; it will continue throughout the month of April with dance parties, special anniversary sips and bites, and more frosted fun. Family-friendly games with fun prizes such as snowflake tattoos, wintery-themed rubber ducks, and snowy bubbles will also be happening.
Walt Disney World also announced that after the Blizzard Beach festivities conclude on April 30th, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will reopen on Thursday, May 1, 2025, when they “transition to a more tropical splash.”
