This August, the Disneyland Resort will be hosting a pair of overnight events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland Park.
The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving events will be held August 7-8, 2019 and August 8-9, 2019.
The day start at 10:00am, with check-in and a special shopping event at the Disneyland Hotel that runs until 11:00pm. Ticketed guests can pre-purchase select merchandise for pickup that day.
Beginning at 11:30pm, guests can start lining up for the after-hours party in Disneyland Park which begins at 1:00am and continues until 4:00am.
Highlights of the after-hours event include:
A 13th Hour Celebration Kick-Off moment on the Rivers of America where Madame Leota will “conjure up the ensuing party festivities.” The celebration will also include musicians, dancers, and other performers.
Look for photo opportunities that re-create favorite scenes from the Haunted Mansion. Ticketed guests will receive unlimited digital Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event.
Themed food and beverage menu items will be available from select park locations.
Roaming “dearly departed souls and otherworldly characters” will be mingling with guests.
Guests will be able to enjoy select attractions in New Orleans Square , Critter Country, Frontierland, and Adventureland.
Guests are encouraged to dress their “cadaverous best,” but should keep Disneyland Resort special event costume rules in mind.
The cost for this special event is $299 per person, with no discounts available. Parking is not included. Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 23rd at 10:00pm (Pacific).
