Continuing the tradition that Walt Disney began more than 50 years ago, today the Disneyland Resort announced their Ambassador team for 2019-2020! New Ambassadors Justin Rapp and Rafa Barron will act as representatives of the more than 30,000 Disneyland Cast Members at events in the parks and around the community.
Disneyland Resort President Josh D’Amaro congratulated the new team who were selected from over 100 applicants.
“An engaged, thriving cast makes the magic stronger at the Disneyland Resort, and I am proud to welcome such talented new Disney Ambassadors to represent them.”
The duties of the Ambassador team include accompanying Disney characters during visits to local hospitals, attending cast recognition ceremonies, hosting dignitaries and VIPs, and serving as spokespeople for the Resort.
The new team was honored with a cavalcade down Main Street USA on Thursday morning!
