Disneyland Resort Builds Can Display to Benefit Food Bank The DIS CANstruction19-01

Once again this year, the Disneyland Resort Design & Engineering team has come up with a fun design for CANStruction Orange County, a design-build competition which benefits the Orange County Food Bank.



Using more than 7,000 food cans, the team created the Disney-Pixar character Woody inside the South Coast Plaza Mall in Costa Mesa, California. If you’d like to take a look, all the structures in the competition will be on display through September 22nd.

The 9-foot-tall design, which took six hours to build, is made from canned jalapenos, green chiles, olives, rice, beans, and baby food.
