The Disneyland Resort will use its annual 24-hour event as a way to kick off the Diamond Celebration honoring 60 years of Disneyland Park.
The Coolest Summer Ever will feature a 24-hour party at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure beginning May 22 at 6am and continuing through May 23 at 6am. The event will include dance parties and special character meets at locations in both Parks.
Guests of the 24-hour event will enjoy the premieres of several new night time spectaculars created for the Diamond Celebration, including:
Paint The Night – An all new parade reminiscent of the Main Street Electrical Parade that showcases Disney characters in dazzling scenes illuminated with more the 1.5 million individually controlled lights.
Disneyland Forever – A new fireworks show that immerses guests, with breathtaking fireworks about to special projection effects below.
World of Color: Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney – This new update to the already popular World of Color features Mickey Mouse and actor Neil Patrick Harris sharing Walt Disney’s legacy of memorable animated momets and his dream of Disneyland.
