
This morning the Broadcast Film Critics Association along with the Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced their nominees for the 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards.
Marvel’s Black Panther received 12 nominations, while Mary Poppins Returns received nine. Avengers: Infinity War, Incredibles 2, and Ralph Breaks the Internet also received nominations.
The nominations for the Disney family of studios include:
Best Picture – Black Panther, Mary Poppins Returns
Best Actress – Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins Returns)
Best Supporting Actor – Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther)
Best Acting Ensemble – Black Panther
Best Adapted Screenplay – Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther)
Best Cinematography – Rachel Morrison (Black Panther)
Best Production Design – Hanna Beachler & Jay Hart (Black Panther), John Myhre & Gordon Sim (Mary Poppins Returns)
Best Costume Design – Ruth Carter (Black Panther), Sandy Powell (Mary Poppins Returns)
Best Hair and Makeup – Black Panther
Best Visual Effects – Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, Mary Poppins Returns
Best Animated Feature – Incredibles 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet
Best Action Movie – Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther
Best Actress in a Comedy – Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins Returns)
Best Song – “All the Stars” (Black Panther), “The Place Where Lost Things Go” (Mary Poppins Returns), “Trip a Little Light Fantastic” (Mary Poppins Returns)
Best Score – Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther), Marc Shaiman (Mary Poppins Returns)
