Earffel Tower being removed from Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World has confirmed that tbe iconic “Earffel Tower”, a water tower with huge Mickey Mouse ears, will be removed as Disney’s Hollywood Studios begins construction on two new areas themed to Star Wars and Toy Story.

Disney will also close the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure, the Monsters Inc. meet & greet, and the Studio Catering Co., in addition to the April 2nd closure of the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show that was announced early today.

No date was given for the removal of the tower.
