Disney has always used the theme parks to help advertise their movies, but lately their marketing has become more aggressive with the addition of sneak peeks for upcoming movies in unused theaters in the parks. Now that Tomorrowland is gone from the Magic Eye Theater in the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot, Disney-Pixar’s latest film Inside Out is able to step in and entertain hoards of guests looking for an air conditioned break!
Inside Out tells the story of an 11-year-old girl, Riley, and the emotions inside of her head that control her – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. After moving from Minnesota to San Francisco, Riley’s emotions keep her with a positive outlook thanks to Joy (voiced by Amy Poehler in a role that couldn’t be more perfect for her). However, when Sadness makes a mistake and causes Riley to lose her core memories and personality, Joy and Sadness have to find a way to return the core memories and get back to the command center before Anger, Fear and Disgust make things worse.
The sneak peek starts with a pre-show that includes a cute animated countdown with character cutaways as well as a brief background headlined by the director, Pete Docter, explaining the plot of the film and how the preview fits perfectly at the Imagination Pavilion because imagination is essentially the inspiration behind the movie.

Check out Inside Out when it hits theaters on June 19!
