The trailer for VisionQuest has officially premiered at the 2026 D23 Ultimate Fan Event, giving Marvel fans their first major look at the upcoming Disney+ series. Paul Bettany returns as Vision, joined by James Spader as Ultron. The two appear together in a mysterious mindscape within Vision’s consciousness, with both actors appearing in human form. The unusual setting immediately raises questions about Vision’s memories, identity and who he really is now.
Following the events of WandaVision, Vision possesses the memories of his former self but isn’t necessarily the same Vision fans knew before his death. With Ultron, appearing alongside him, the series appears ready to explore Vision’s origins and sense of self in a much deeper way. VisionQuest will premiere on Disney+ October 14, 2026.
