As EPCOT prepares to host The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World, new concept art has been shared of “playful, innovative lighting” that will greet guests in the park.
The new World Celebration neighborhood is located at the center of EPCOT and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2023. As the park’s hub, it will feature different shaded gardens that change with the seasons and a new way for guests to experience festivals throughout their day at the park. It will also be home to the new Communicore Plaza and the new Communicore Hall, the latter offering a place to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Guests can also look forward to food & beverage locations, and multiple live entertainment venues.

World Celebration will also anchor the park’s renowned festivals. It is also where guests will discover Dreamers Point, an inspiring overlook showcasing a statue of Walt Disney called “Walt the Dreamer.”
