On Saturday, Disney’s Contemporary Resort was evacuated because of a fire alarm that was going off in the resort. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm. Reedy Creek Fire Department Deputy Chief Keith Cartwright claimed the department quickly revealed that it was a false alarm after a “protocol sweep” of the resort. The false alarm quickly spread on social media on Saturday, with mentions of the evacuation starting at 12:21 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
