As we rapidly approach the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the hard-ticketed spooktacular event in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, we’ve got a few sold-out nights to report. Halloween night sold out way back in May, just a few days after party tickets went on sale!
The following party nights are completely sold out for the general public:
- Friday, August 15th
- Sunday, August 17th
- Tuesday, August 19th
- Friday, October 31st
At the time of this posting, tickets for the first night of the party (August 15) are still available for Disney Vacation Club members, but will likely sell out soon.
Years ago, when Disney first announced that its popular Halloween party would be held on August dates in addition to September and October, there was widespread skepticism. Many Disney fans, myself included, found it hard to fathom that anyone would be interested in attending a Halloween event during the sweltering summer heat in Central Florida. Festively adorned with cobwebs and Mickey pumpkins, the park, in theory, seemed as though it might be out of sync with the bright, sunny, and HOT days of August, leaving potential partygoers to question how the excitement of Halloween could resonate so early in the year.
The thing is, the earliest dates of the party are typically the ones that continue to sell out quickly, with the exception of Halloween night.
With limited capacity, exclusive entertainment, rare character meet-and-greets, and plenty of candy, it’s no surprise that party nights are starting to book up fast. If you’re hoping to experience the spooky fun for yourself this year, don’t wait long to grab your tickets. The closer we get to Halloween, the quicker they disappear. Whether you’re going for the costumes, the parade, or just the magical nighttime vibes, this is one Disney event that’s worth planning well ahead for. Happy haunting!
