Disneyland Resort has finally shared something fans have been waiting for: the first real look inside Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby in Downtown Disney.
Until now, we’ve only seen concept art of the restaurant. This newly released photo shows the actual dining room as it gets ready to open later this summer.

The first thing that stands out is how bright the space feels. Large windows overlook Downtown Disney, while green velvet chairs, warm wood ceilings, and brass light fixtures give the restaurant an upscale look without feeling overly formal. Framed artwork lines one wall, adding a few subtle nods to London, which inspired the restaurant’s theme.
Disney also shared the updated look at the exterior. The new signage is now in place above the entrance, and the bold orange front doors make it hard to miss if you’re walking through the district.
The restaurant’s official Instagram account described The Carnaby as bringing the energy and creativity of London’s famous Carnaby Street to Downtown Disney with elevated British dishes, creative cocktails, and a lively atmosphere.

It’s exciting to see the actual interior of the restaurant instead of just another artist’s rendering. Concept art is fun, but it doesn’t show everything. This photo helps guests understand what to expect when they enter.
Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is being built above the newly reopened Earl of Sandwich and is expected to open sometime this summer. Disney still hasn’t announced an exact opening date, but with the dining room looking nearly complete and the exterior signage installed, it feels like the wait is almost over.
If you’ve been curious about this project since it was announced, this first interior photo offers the clearest preview yet of what is shaping up to be one of the biggest new dining additions to Downtown Disney this year.
