We’re getting another small but fun update on the upcoming Muppet takeover of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and this time, it’s all about the music.
Disney has revealed the first song that will be featured on Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which is set to open in summer 2026. While much of the attraction’s story and concept has already been shared, this marks the first real hint at what guests will hear once they’re racing through the ride.
The confirmed track? “Song 2,” performed by the Electric Mayhem.
It’s a fitting pick. The Electric Mayhem will be front and center in this reimagined version of the coaster, so the soundtrack is expected to carry a lot of the experience. This first reveal gives a glimpse into the tone Disney is going for, something high-energy, a little chaotic, and very much in line with the band’s style.
We already know the basic setup. Guests will find themselves inside G-Force Records, now under Muppet management, before getting swept into a fast-paced race across Hollywood to get the band to their big concert on time. The ride system itself isn’t changing, but the story, characters, and music are.

And that last part is where things are starting to get interesting.
Music has always been the driving force behind Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster. It sets the pace, builds the energy, and sticks with you long after the ride is over. So even a single song reveal feels like a meaningful step toward understanding how this version will come together.
Disney says to keep an eye out for the major announcement revealing more of the set list is coming on April 16!
For now, it’s a small update, but an important one. And if the rest of the set list follows this same energy, which we’re sure it will, this is going to be a very memorable ride experience when it opens next year.
