Grand Californian Hotel Unveils Updated Lobby

After nearly a near of renovations throughout the hotel, the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort has unveiled its newly updated lobby area.

The six-story lobby received new furniture and other new design elements, without straying too far from its familiar look.

Custom made chairs and coffee tables with inlay woodwork help reinforce the Arts and Crafts style of the hotel.

The lobby received new hardwood flooring and new carpet that keeps the same pattern as before, but with more texture and brighter colors that better match the marble floors where the pattern continues.

Disneyland has also confirmed work has finally been completed on updates to all of the rooms at the hotel, so all guests will now receive a renovated room.

This hotel-wide renovation was the first of its kind since the hotel opened in 2001.
