Guest at Hollywood Tower of Terror Reportedly Punches Cast Member Over FastPass+ Dispute

According to the Orlando Sentinel, an incident took place at the Hollywood Tower of Terror attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World on July 13, 2019, which resulted in a guest being banned from the Resort.

Apparently, a woman in the popular attraction’s pre-ride area was informed that even though she thought she had secured a valid FastPass+ selection, she, in fact, did not have one. According to reports, the woman became verbally aggressive upon receiving the news and began pushing random buttons on a podium where a cast member was standing. The woman punched the cast member in the face when she attempted to stop her from pushing buttons. Security was called and although the woman left the attraction with her party, she was located and given a lifetime ban from the Walt Disney World Resort.
