There is nothing more exciting in a Disney theme park than the opening of a brand-new expansion. Disney has just announced that the long-awaited new area of Hong Kong Disneyland will be opening in November of 2023! There has never been a better time to plan a Disney vacation overseas now that you can walk the village of Arendelle and ride Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs!
We all know that international Disney Parks have a tendency to influence new attractions and installations that end up in Disneyland, California, or Florida’s Walt Disney World. Most recently, we have seen the completion of the Tron Lightcycles in Magic Kingdom, which originated in Shanghai Disneyland in 2016. Before that, we saw a version of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure brought to EPCOT from Disneyland Paris and many more before that. Could this be the inspiration the US-based parks need to implement a more immersive Frozen-themed expansion?
