Reports surfaced online on Sunday stating that Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Town Center at Disney Springs will permanently close in about two weeks, with September 13, 2026, expected to be the restaurant’s final operating day.
The news was first reported by WDWMagic, which states that the Disney Springs restaurant will close permanently following service on September 13. Other Disney news outlets have since begun reporting the same date. However, as of Sunday morning, we have not been able to locate a public announcement from Walt Disney World, Disney Springs, Wolfgang Puck, or the restaurant itself confirming the closure.
In fact, Disney’s official website continues to list Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill as operating normally in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, complete with its current hours, menu, and reservation information. Wolfgang Puck’s official website is also still listing the Orlando restaurant and its regular operating hours.
We decided to go straight to the source and called Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill directly on Sunday morning. We explained that reports were circulating online about a September 13 permanent closure and asked if the restaurant could confirm the news. The restaurant employee we spoke with told us that they were not aware of the restaurant closing.
That certainly doesn’t mean the reports are incorrect. Restaurant closures at Disney Springs can sometimes become known before an official announcement is made, and it’s possible additional information is coming soon. Still, with an exact closing date now making its way around the Disney community, we wanted to distinguish between what is currently being reported and what has actually been confirmed.
For now, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill remains listed as an operating Disney Springs restaurant, and neither Disney nor Wolfgang Puck has publicly announced its permanent closure.
