Magic Kingdom Celebrates January With Some Special Treats

Not wanting to be outdone by the Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Cupcake that’s being served over at Epcot, the creative chefs at the Magic Kingdom have come up with some special items for January and beyond.

Monthly offerings at Casey’s Corner return for 2018 and January’s Hot Dog of the Month is the Teriyaki Hot Diggity Dog, which includes an all-beef hot dog, roasted pineapple and onions, all drizzled with Teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with green onions.

Featured Flatbreads at Pinocchio Village Haus also return in 2018. January’s flatbread is topped with sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon bits, red sauce and cheese.

For dessert, try The Plaza Restaurant’s Milkshake of the Month. For January, they’re featuring a Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake, which has both chocolate and peanut butter ice cream, plus chocolate sauce, all topped with whipped cream, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and a cherry. For something a little lighter, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor next door is featuring Rainbow Sherbert.

Looking ahead to February, The Friar’s Nook is set to serve up three new types of loaded tots. Greek Tots will be topped with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, olives and feta cheese. Fiesta Tots will have ground beef, tomatoes, peppers, queso and jalapenos. Buffalo Chicken Tots include buffalo chicken, celery, blue cheese crumbles and garlic ranch dressing.

Many of these special food items will only be around for a limited time, so enjoy them soon!
