Magic Kingdom Will Have Special Offerings for Dapper Day Guests

From April 28th through the 30th, guests at the Walt Disney World Resort will have the opportunity to add some class to their park experience with Dapper Day. According to their site, Dapper Day encourages people to “Dress up a little, or a lot! We welcome all sophisticated fashions from vintage classics to chic, contemporary looks!” Although the event is not Disney-sponsored, the Magic Kingdom will have a few special treats available for those guests who decided to ride in style.

Here are a few of the sophisticated surprises Disney has is store for the weekend:

Picnic in the Park-

Saturday, April 29th 11 am-2:30 pm. The East Garden Plaza will have a reserved picnic area, with boxed lunches available at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Guests will have the choice of Fried Chicken, Chicken Caesar Salad, Greek Salad Wrap, or BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich; all lunches come with house-made chips, a fruit cup, a Dapper Rose cupcake, and a fountain beverage. Kids’ Meal choices are Chicken Strips, or Uncrustables Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich; those include house-made chips, a Go-Go SqueeZ, a mini Dapper Rose cupcake, and a kids’ fountain beverage.

These will run $14.99 for adults, and $9.99 for children 9 and under.

Specialty Cupcakes-

Two Dapper Day themed cupcakes will be available in the park: The “Hats Off to Spring” cupcake gives you the choice of vanilla with vanilla buttercream, or chocolate with mocha buttercream; each topped with a white chocolate coated sandwich cookie filled with raspberry jam. The “Dapper Quartet” consists of four small cupcakes, two vanilla and two chocolate, topped with vanilla buttercream and fondant bow-ties colored in sync with the Dapper Dans on Mainstreet, U.S.A.

Pop-Up Dress Shop in the Emporium-

The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. will be offering merchandise from The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane at Disney Springs for a limited time. The vintage-styled collection features clothing inspired by Disney Characters and attractions, such as the Enchanted Tiki Room, “it’s a small world,” Minnie Mouse, Snow White, and Alice.

Main Street, U.S.A. Floral Offerings-

Guests can purchase rose wands and corsages on Main Street, U.S.A. near Uptown Jewelers.
