Man Files Negligence Lawsuit Against SeaWorld Claiming Severe Leg Injury

A complaint has been filed with the Orange County Circuit Court accusing SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, LLC of negligence that lead to a Sarasota man’s leg being crushed. The purported incident occurred at the turnstile of SeaWorld Orlando’s Journey to Atlantis just over two years ago, on March 22nd, 2015.

Ronald D. Mannarino’s lawsuit alleges that his leg was crushed in the loading area hydraulic turnstile and that SeaWorld failed in its responsibility in one or more of the following areas: adequately maintaining the turnstile, properly inspecting the turnstile, warning guests of the danger involved with using the turnstile, and failing to correct the gate’s “dangerous condition.”

Due to the incident, the lawsuit filed on March 14th of this year states, Mannarino suffered permanent injuries to his body for which he has accrued medical expenses, physical and mental pain, loss of wage and earning capacity, and the “loss of ability to lead and enjoy a normal life.”

Mannarino seeks judgement against SeaWorld in excess of $15,000; he is requesting a trial by jury.
