Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room at Disney Springs to feature his dad Michael’s memorabilia

Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, will be opening a new store called “Trophy Room” at Disney Springs. Marcus wants to use the space to bring visitors behind the scenes and into the life of his famous father. The store will sell athletic footwear and apparel, but also showcase items from Jordan’s home.

The press release states: “Trophy Room takes its name from the place in the Jordan family estate where the family’s awards were displayed, and that served as a source of inspiration. The retail environment will include a display of rare Jordan family photos, home videos and limited-edition memorabilia.”

Marcus said, “I’m thrilled to bring Trophy Room to life as part of the world-class shopping and dining expansion at Disney Springs. As a University of Central Florida grad, I spent much time learning about Walt Disney and was inspired by his pioneering spirit. It is a true honor to build my dream business at Walt Disney World.”

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
