As part of the D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley revealed more details on Harmonious, the new fireworks spectacular coming to EPCOT in 2021.
Earlier this week, Zach shared an image of a circular set piece from the show giving us a look at just how massive the central ring curtain is at six stories tall.
The show will have five gigantic platforms that will be positioned like a compass out on World Showcase Lagoon, the largest lagoon in any Disney theme park. Zach said that the platforms are heading out to the lagoon to begin testing “very soon.”
In the new artist concept above, you can see how the platforms will provide an ambient new look during the daytime as they’ll become fountains out on the lagoon. Of course, the real magic will happen at night when they come alive.
