Walt Disney World has officially welcomed its new Disney Ambassador team, continuing a tradition that dates back to Walt Disney himself. Every two years, two cast members are selected to represent the resort, serving as storytellers, spokespeople, and champions for more than 75,000 cast members who bring the magic of Disney to life every day.
Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake have been selected to represent Walt Disney World and its 80,000 cast members as the 2026–2027 Disney Ambassador team. Before stepping into this prestigious role, Kylee worked in Merchandise Finance, while Phelicia served as a Guest Experience Manager at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The announcement was made this week during a special celebration at EPCOT, where fellow cast members, leaders, and former Ambassadors gathered to cheer on the new team. The Disney Ambassador program is one of the resort’s most cherished traditions, giving selected cast members the opportunity to participate in milestone events, represent Walt Disney World at community engagements, and celebrate the accomplishments of cast across the resort.
“Becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador is a dream come true,” Kylee said. “It feels so surreal that we’re going to represent our cast with all the growth ahead at Walt Disney World, and I’m so excited for the incredible moments that are ahead of us.”
“What I’m looking forward to most as a Disney Ambassador is celebrating our 80,000 cast members here at Walt Disney World,” Phelicia said. “I love that at Disney, we create happiness for each other and our guests every day, and I can’t wait to continue doing that with Kylee these next two years.”
Serving as the “ultimate cheerleaders,” Disney Ambassadors play a vital role in connecting cast members to the larger Disney story. From ribbon cuttings for new attractions to celebrating cultural events and anniversaries, they are often at the center of the magic.

This tradition began in 1965 when Walt Disney appointed the very first Ambassador during Disneyland’s 10th anniversary year, a practice that has continued at Disney parks around the world. The new Walt Disney World team will carry that legacy forward, sharing Disney’s mission of joy and storytelling with both cast and guests through 2027.

The announcement at EPCOT was filled with excitement, applause, and plenty of pixie dust, as the new Ambassadors prepare to step into their two-year term. Guests and cast members can expect to see them at major events across the resort, representing Walt Disney World with pride and enthusiasm.
