Disney is bringing back one of its most beloved holiday traditions with a brand-new Prep & Landing special, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol. The new installment debuts Thanksgiving night, November 27, at 7:00 p.m. EST/PST on Disney Channel, and will stream the next day on Disney+. Later in the season, the special will also air on ABC and Freeform as part of the “25 Days of Christmas” lineup, making it a centerpiece of this year’s holiday programming.
This marks the franchise’s first new installment in over a decade and the fourth chapter in the fan-favorite series. The story once again follows elite Christmas elves Wayne and Lanny, whose job is to prepare homes around the world for Santa’s arrival. In The Snowball Protocol, a routine mission goes wrong, leaving Wayne worried he’s in hot water with Santa – and revealing even more North Pole mishaps. Magee, the Command Center’s no-nonsense leader, brings her pet arctic seal pup, Nog, to work, sparking even more chaos.

The original voice cast returns for the special, including Dave Foley as Wayne, Sarah Chalke as Magee, and Derek Richardson as Lanny. Manny Jacinto joins them as Renato, Dulcé Sloan as Janice, and Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff. Christopher Swindle rounds out the cast as Santa Claus himself.
Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is produced by Disney Television Animation, with Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton returning as executive producers. Disney has also released a teaser trailer and key art showcasing Nog, the adorable new seal pup who is sure to steal the show.
Fans can stream the original three Prep & Landing specials now on Disney+ and look forward to a limited-edition Toddland merchandise collection inspired by the new special.
