Beginning in October, guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be able to meet Timon from Disney’s The Lion King on Discovery Island. Timon is the star of the show in the beloved The Festival of the Lion King and guests will surely enjoy meeting the playful meerkat soon. This will be the second The Lion King character at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as Rafiki currently greets guests in Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
Also, as a reminder, in October, Tarzan will “leave the jungle and return home.” His final meet and greet with guests will be September 30, 2017.
