Menu changes at Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Tree Tavern

According to the Disney Food Blog, a few changes have come to the dinner menu at Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom. Liberty Tree Tavern is located in Liberty Square and serves the meal family-style at dinner. One of the changes is just in the name – the Patriot’s Punch is now called Patriot’s Slush. Cornbread is no longer available in the bread basket, instead, only hot dinner rolls are offered. The Declaration Salad is the same, but the dressing has now been added onto the salad instead of being served on the side.

The Patriot’s Platter, which is the plate of meats delivered to the table, used to be a mix of Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Roast Beef, and Sliced Pork Roast. The Platter now consists of Roasted Turkey Breast, Sliced Tavern Ham, and New England Pot Roast. Stuffing is also served on the plate.

The last change comes with dessert. Instead of the previous Johnny Appleseed’s Cake, guests are now served a Johnny Appleseed’s Tart, which is an apple and Craisin pastry.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
