The start of the D23 Expo in Anaheim is just a few days away and new details have been shared on some fun products you can expect to see if you’re headed there.
Mickey’s of Glendale is usually only open to Disney Imagineers and Cast Members. At this year’s D23 Expo, they will have a pop-up shop in the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts pavilion providing an exclusive opportunity for Expo guests to purchase a unique assortment of merchandise.
Original artwork and patterns from Disney Imagineers and Mickey’s of Glendale Cast Members were gathered from iconic symbols from Adventureland and Pirates of the Caribbean for colorful camp shirts.
Additional clothing pieces include a salute to Star Tours which is celebrating three decades at Disney Parks this year!
Bronze collectible statues that celebrate Walt Disney Imagineering’s heritage will also be available in an extremely limited quantity. Only 25 pieces of each figurine will be available at the Expo and each one commemorates the art of the Imagineering design process.
Lastly, “in celebration of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts: A Galaxy of Stories pavilion, Mickey’s of Glendale will also offer unique merchandise featuring designs inspired by the stories being shared at this year’s Expo.”
