Mouseketeer Dennis Day Who Was Thought to Be Missing Has Passed Away

Original Mouseketeer Dennis Day has passed away at 76 years old. Day was on the first two seasons of The Mickey Mouse Club between 1955 and 1957.

Mr. Day sadly suffered from dementia later in life, and subsequently went missing in July 2018. In early April “human remains” were found in his Oregon home, and now investigators have confirmed using dental records that the body was, in fact, Dennis Day. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Before Day went missing, he reportedly left his dog at a friend’s house which was thought to be “uncharacteristic” according to a police report.

Ernest Caswell, Dennis Day’s husband of 45 years, was hospitalized and brought to an assisted care facility due to a fall, which delayed the reporting of Day’s disappearance.
