Due to the thunderstorm, there is currently a ground stop at Orlando International Airport as well as over 2,500 power outages in Central Florida.

The strong wind advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. tonight as the mighty storm front extends from Tampa into Northern Florida and makes its way eastward across the state.

If you are traveling into or out of the Central Florida area, it’s advised that you check with your airline for any flight delays.
