Fans of the beloved animated series Bluey have plenty to look forward to this year. Disney+ has announced several new Bluey offerings arriving in 2026, giving families even more ways to enjoy the adventures of Bluey, Bingo, and the Heeler family.
Bluey is an inexhaustible six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who loves to play and turns everyday family life into playful adventures! With her boundless imagination, she and little sister, Bingo, throw themselves into exploring their world. While Mum and Dad might think they’re in charge, the girls are definitely calling the shots when it comes to playtime – and pretty much everything else! ~Disney Junior
First up is “Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show,” which will premiere on March 16. This special brings the popular theatrical production to your televisions, capturing the live stage experience for viewers at home. The show features the familiar Bluey characters performed by skilled puppeteers (How cool is that?!) and tells an original story created by Bluey’s creator, Joe Brumm. The music for the production was composed by Joff Bush, whose work fans will recognize from the original animated series.

The stage show is produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in collaboration with Ludo Studio, Andrew Kay, and Windmill Theatre Co. It brings the heart and humor of the animated series to a new format that families can enjoy together.
More Bluey content will follow later in the spring. Beginning May 20, Disney+ will debut a collection of Bluey Minisodes that were previously only available online and in Australia. These short, one- to three-minute episodes capture quick, funny moments from Bluey and Bingo’s everyday adventures.
The Minisodes collection includes titles like Humpty Dumpty, Green Bottles, Flying Saucer, Tea Party, Pea Pod Sausages, Old MacDonald, Honk, Lollipop Song, Cinderella, and Make Mum Laugh. All previously released minisodes are already available to stream on Disney+, giving fans even more bite-sized Bluey moments to enjoy.
The show’s popularity continues to grow. In fact, Bluey was the No. 1 most-streamed program in the United States in 2025, marking the second year in a row the series topped the charts with an impressive 45.2 billion minutes streamed, according to Nielsen.
Bluey’s presence across Disney experiences is expanding as well. Also, as we previously reported, beginning March 22, 2026, guests visiting Disneyland Park can enjoy “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the newly reimagined Fantasyland Theatre, where Bluey and Bingo appear throughout the day alongside performers and musicians.
The characters will also arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World starting May 26, 2026. Guests can play games, dance, and meet Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station after a fun train ride aboard the Wildlife Express Train. Guests will also have the opportunity to discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at “Jumping Junction.” Possibly the best part about this is that they are staying beyond Cool KIDS’ SUMMER!
And the future of Bluey is only getting bigger. A feature-length Bluey movie is already in development and scheduled to hit theaters on August 6, 2027.
Between new Disney+ content, theme park appearances, and even a theatrical film on the horizon, it’s safe to say the world of Bluey is only getting bigger.
