From Pocahontas to Muppet*Vision: New Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Beach Club

Picking up from our Yacht Club Easter egg visit, next door at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, the tradition continues with ten more elaborate chocolate creations inspired by Disney films, characters, and even a former theme park attraction. Unlike the display at nearby Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, these eggs are spread across three different areas of the lobby.

One egg pays tribute to the now-closed Muppet*Vision 3D from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The shell is sculpted to resemble the attraction’s theater façade, complete with the classic logo, clock tower, and even the old Kermit the Frog hot-air balloon. Inside, the theater scene recreates the show’s chaotic finale with Miss Piggy as Lady Liberty on screen, with paint splatters and “Animal was here” along the sides. A nod to the preshow appears on the back with Rizzo the Rat dressed as Mickey Mouse and “welcome to my park”. This egg was created by culinary Cast Members Tabatha and Abby.

Another egg celebrates the cult classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Styled like the warehouse from the film’s finale, the brick-patterned egg reveals Toontown through a hole in the wall. Details include dripping Dip from Acme’s A1 Solvents, the tragic toon shoe, and a dangling 100-ton weight. A sculpted Roger Rabbit stands triumphantly on a film reel above it. This egg was created by Mary.

The third egg here floats straight out of Up, featuring the house drifting through clouds beneath colorful molded balloons. The base references the adventure book and grape soda bottle cap badge from the film. The backside also features a scene from Paradise Falls, however, it’s sadly blocked from view due to the display’s placement. This egg was created by Cast Member Jimena.

Onto the next area:

A towering confection inspired by the Toy Story franchise features smaller eggs themed to Buzz Lightyear, the Little Green Aliens, Woody, and Bo Peep, while Green Army Men, candy bricks, dominoes and wooden blocks are scattered throughout. This one was created by Cast Member Luan.

Another captures a peaceful forest moment from Bambi. Bambi rests at the base with a butterfly perched on his nose, while the egg itself features a painted scene of Flower meeting Petunia. Sculpted sugar flowers surround the design, and a painted Thumper scene can be seen along the backside, but is unfortunately poorly placed to view the full artwork. This egg was created by Amy.

The final egg in this section showcases Cinderella Castle nestled inside a hollow shell. Brickwork covers the lower half while the upper portion resembles a sunny blue sky. Color-changing lights illuminate a painted fireworks scene inside. This display was created by Audrey.

At the center of the lobby, four more eggs highlight animated Disney stories.

One egg inspired by Cinderella shows the magical pumpkin transformation with a half pumpkin, half royal carriage. Nearby, the mice Jaq, Gus, and Mary work on the dress from the storybook while the glass slipper rests on the opposite side. This egg was created by Kourtney.

Another egg draws from Pocahontas, with Grandmother Willow forming the shape of the egg itself. Meeko sits the base holding a small egg as the roots reach toward the water below. This display was created by Virginia.

Next, a Lady & the Tramp-themed egg sits atop a table inspired by Tony’s restaurant, supported by a pile of spaghetti and meatballs while the painted alleyway dinner appears on the shell. The backside features another painted portrait including their neighborhood friends, Jock and Trusty. This egg was created by Liliana.

Finally, the tallest egg here recreates Princess Aurora’s dress from Sleeping Beauty, split between pink and blue as the fairies argue over the color. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are posed around the gown while the detailed gem storybook leans against the base. This egg was created by Cast Member Alex.
