D23 Gold members will have two new events available to them at Walt Disney World in March.
“Lunch with a Disney Legend: Charlie Ridgway” will take place on March 18 in the American Adventure Parlor at Epcot. Charlie Ridgway was a publicist for the parks, beginning at Disneyland in 1963 and moved to Florida when Walt Disney World opened in 1971. Tickets will go on sale February 2 at 1:00pm EST. Members can purchase two tickets for the event, one for themselves and one for a guest. Tickets are $125; there will be a few tickets available for $150 to sit at Ridgway’s table during the event.
On March 19, “D23’s Very Important Date: 65 Years of Alice in Wonderland” will take place at Disney Springs. Steven Vagnini from D23 will host the event, which will give guests a look into the making of the film, how it has inspired other productions and the history of the attraction at Disneyland. The event will also include a screening of the film. Tickets for this event are $25 each and will be on sale February 3 at 10:00am EST.
