The Levy Restaurant Group will soon be unveiling their newest venue at the Walt Disney World Resort. Terralina Crafted Italian is expected to open in the Spring of 2018 and is said to “transport guests to ‘la dolce vita,’ (the sweet life) essence of the spectacular Lake District of Northern Italy.”
Alison Weber, Chief Creative Officer for Levy, shared some inspiration behind their newest location.
“The story here is of a first-generation Italian family, from the Lake District, who built a home in Disney Springs, expanding it over the years to welcome more friends and neighbors to enjoy their hospitality, and, of course, food! At Terralina Crafted Italian, every detail supports the philosophy that ‘life is meant to be savored through the simplest of pleasures.’ The table is even set that way … ready for good conversations, storytelling and moments to be enjoyed.”
The restaurant will feature an open rotunda with a rustic stone fireplace that is sure to make guests feel welcome. There will be a brand new outdoor patio with a veranda bar that leads out to the Disney Springs promenade along with a two-story glass conservatory that will boast beautiful views of Lake Buena Vista. An herb garden will be situated just outside the front doors and inside, guests will find a compilation of family photos and vintage heirlooms distributed throughout.
The restaurant is set to open in early 2018 and according to the Disney Parks Blog, details on the menu are expected soon.
