If you’ve been looking for an excuse to make a reservation at Ale & Compass Restaurant, Disney just gave you several.
Beginning July 22, the popular table-service restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will roll out a refreshed menu featuring new breakfast favorites, seafood-forward lunch and dinner options, and a lineup of desserts that look just as tempting as the entrées. Disney shared a first look at the new dishes on Instagram, and based on the photos alone, there are more than a few that are likely to catch guests’ attention.

Breakfast is getting three new additions, starting with Stuffed French Toast filled with French vanilla stuffing and topped with a seasonal fruit compote.

Guests with a sweet tooth will also find Dark Chocolate Waffles, served with dried cherry compote, espresso-mascarpone cream, and chocolate shavings. These waffles are unbelievable!

If savory is more your style, the new Crab Cake Eggs Benedict pairs pan-seared crab cakes with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce.

Lunch and dinner bring several seafood-inspired additions that feel right at home at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. A Blue Crab Bisque topped with chili oil, a sherry reduction, and jumbo lump crab will be available throughout the day, while the new Maryland-style Crab Cake is served with corn purée, tomato succotash, roasted baby red potatoes, and spicy aioli.

Lunch guests can also order a hearty 12-ounce Steak Frites with shoestring fries and au poivre sauce. For dinner, the standout may be the New England Seafood Pot Pie, a flaky pastry filled with shrimp, scallops, jumbo lump crab, fish, baby vegetables, and a rich brandy cream sauce. It looks like exactly the kind of comforting entrée you’d hope to find at a New England-inspired resort.

Dessert is getting just as much attention. The new Banana Crème Brûlée layers brûléed banana, banana cream, puff pastry, and raspberry sauce for a fresh twist on the classic dessert. Chocolate lovers may want to save room for the Boston Cream Pie, featuring vanilla chiffon cake, vanilla bean mousse, chocolate glaçage, and raspberry sauce.

Disney is also adding a new plant-based dessert to the menu. The Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Cup combines plant-based peanut butter mousse, potato meringue, and a chocolate shell, giving guests with dietary preferences another indulgent option to choose from.

Ale & Compass has built a loyal following over the years thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and consistently solid menu, especially among guests staying at Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. These additions seem like a natural fit, with plenty of seafood, comforting coastal flavors, and a few desserts that may be worth ordering even if you’re already full.
The new menu officially launches July 22, so if you have an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, it may be worth making room in your dining plans for a visit to Ale & Compass.
