For the first time, the iconic McDonald’s Boo Buckets are getting a Disney makeover! Starting October 20th, McDonald’s Happy Meals will be served in all-new Disney Villains Boo Bucket. The five different designs include – Cruella, Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar, and Scar. Each bucket comes with your choice of Happy Meal plus Disney Villains stickers to decorate your bucket with.
The Boo Buckets are only available for a limited time, typically selling out before Halloween on October 31st. You’ll also want to stop by multiple drive thrus to try to collect them all! Each McDonald’s location will have different designs at different times. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World October 20th – 31st, be sure to visit the on-property McDonald’s near the All Star Resorts!
The McDonald’s Boo Bucket originally debuted nationwide in 1986 – making it a Halloween tradition for many families. The original designs included the characters – McPunk’n, McBoo, and McGoblin. The Boo Buckets took a short hiatus from 2016 until 2022 and have returned every year since.
We’re so excited to see a Disney version of the Boo Buckets and hope for more Disney designs in the future. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be getting a Happy Meal on October 20th!
