Banana Ball Is Coming to Walt Disney World in 2027!

Hey, Disney sports fans! If you’re anything like me, you are always looking for new ways to add a little extra sparkle and fun to your vacation memories. Well, dust off your gloves and get ready to go totally bananas, because the wildly entertaining Banana Ball Open is officially returning to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Next year, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will host this high-energy mid-season tournament from April 15th–18th, 2027. With a growing fanbase and previous Disney visits that left fans feeling the banana magic, yesterday’s announcement had fans instantly excited and busily checking their calendars for April 2027. All six Banana Ball teams will head to Disney for an unforgettable run of fast-paced, theatrical baseball magic.

This time around, the stakes are higher, with more fun in store as the top four teams in the Banana Ball league compete head-to-head for a chance to earn a crucial playoff spot a full five months early! It is the ultimate mix of athletic prowess, comedy, and incredible entertainment, all packed into one amazing venue at Walt Disney World; what could be better?

Ticket lottery details are already buzzing, so you’ll want to make sure you’re ready to secure your spot for what is sure to be one of the most high-energy events of the spring. Are you hoping to snag tickets to see the action live on the diamond, or will you be cheering from home? Personally, I’m more of a basketball girl, but I’ll take any excuse to enjoy the atmosphere and hopefully snag myself a few banana-themed specialty snacks along the way!
