Today is National Popcorn Day, and to celebrate the occasion, a new Strawberry Crunch flavored popcorn is on the menu in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World!
If you’re a fan of flavored Disney popcorn, you may have tried some of the flavors that were created by the family-run Popcorn Junkie. The local business started in Orlando with Neal and Minetta Crosier, and when Disney cast members came across their treats, they soon became the official gourmet popcorn supplier at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Popcorn Junkie grew from just two employees to nine, and they now collaborate with Disney Chefs to introduce new flavors. Soon, their popcorn will be available across the Disney Cruise Line fleet!
The newest flavor, Strawberry Crunch Popcorn, is now available for a limited time at the Confectionery Kernel Kitchen inside Main Street Confectionery.
