Disney has announced that the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival this year is sponsored by CORKCICLE. The annual Festival will last for 129 days from July 15th through November 20th, 2021.
The Global Marketplace menus have not been released just yet for 2021, but Disney says that fan-favorite dishes will be returning to the Hawai’i, Australia, Germany, Canada, and Greece Marketplaces. New spicy, savory, and sweet plates, as well as new Global Marketplace concepts, are coming to Morocco, The American Adventure, and throughout the park in July, with more marketplaces opening in the fall.
Popular entertainment is coming back, too, with Voices of Liberty, Mariachi Cobre, and Jammin’ Chefs. The festival will also open with America Gardens Bandstand (presented by Florida Blue Medicare), a live-music concert series performed Friday through Monday evenings. Local bands from across Central Florida will take to the America Gardens Theatre stage, playing popular songs of yesterday and today.
Back to CORKCICLE for a moment; if you visit the Shimmering Sips Global Marketplace and four other locations during the event, you’ll see several sparkling beverage options available for purchase in an exclusive keepsake CORKCICLE premium beverage container.
There will be lots more official event merchandise created just for the festival, including apparel, home décor, trading pins, and more.
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is back this year, making a great family adventure as a savory scavenger hunt around the festival. Emile’s Fromage Montage is coming back too with new ways to experience cheese. Guests who purchase five participating dishes from select Global Marketplaces can collect all five stamps, then head over to Shimmering Sips for a prize when they’re finished!
Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
