Disneyland guests have several new reasons to stop by Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Frontierland, and judging by the photos Disney Eats just shared, you may want to arrive hungry.
Beginning today, September 3, 2026, the restaurant is adding a mix of brand-new dishes and returning favorites to its menu. The new lineup includes everything from a loaded chicken tostada salad and nachos to a Mexican-style shrimp cocktail, plus a couple of frozen drinks that sound particularly good on a warm Southern California afternoon.
One of the biggest additions is the NEW Chicken Tostada Salad, featuring chicken with pico de gallo, sour cream, rice, beans, cotija cheese, guacamole, and a lime cilantro-avocado dressing. It’s all piled into a crispy tostada shell, and this looks like one of those theme park salads where nobody is going to leave wondering where lunch went.
Also new are the Nachos, made with tortilla chips, beans, guajillo cheese sauce, house-made and tomatillo salsas, red jalapeños, sour cream, and guacamole.
Seafood fans have the NEW Mexican-style Shrimp Cocktail, with poached shrimp, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, cucumber, celery, and a spicy cocktail sauce. It’s served with crackers on the side.
The plant-based Duo of Cauliflower Tacos features cauliflower al pastor on corn tortillas with house-made salsa, accompanied by rice, beans, and a lime wedge. For younger guests, there’s also a NEW Kid’s Beef Taquitos meal with two shredded beef taquitos, a Cuties Mandarin Orange, applesauce, and a choice of small DASANI water or lowfat milk.
Dessert stays simple with Fresas Con Crema, strawberries topped with sweet cream.
And then we have the frozen drinks! Rancho del Zocalo is introducing a bright Jamaica Slushy along with a creamy Horchata Slushy. I have a feeling those two are going to be especially tempting after spending a few hours walking around Disneyland.
All of these additions are available beginning September 3 at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante. With several new entrées, snacks, and drinks arriving at once, this is much more than a one-item menu tweak.
