Something new is cooking at Magic Kingdom, and Disney has shared a first look at what guests can expect when a limited-time food and beverage pop-up opens at The Diamond Horseshoe later this fall.
Located in Frontierland, The Diamond Horseshoe has long been known for serving the family-style Thanksgiving-inspired meal also offered at neighboring Liberty Tree Tavern. Soon, however, the restaurant will temporarily take on a different role, offering a menu of shareable bites and specialty beverages in a more relaxed setting.
Disney Parks Blog has released a preview of several menu items that will be available when the pop-up opens, and the lineup already looks like it could become a popular stop for guests looking to take a break during a busy day at Magic Kingdom.
Leading the menu is a hearty charcuterie board loaded with cured beef, “fancy bacon,” smoked pork, smoked cheddar, green chile cheese, and pickles, all served alongside a large, crispy flatbread for sharing.

Disney also confirmed that additional small plates will be announced before the experience officially opens.
Guests looking for something refreshing will have two signature beverages to choose from. The first is a strawberry hot honey lemonade, a non-alcoholic drink made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, strawberry, and hot honey, finished with a chili-lime rim.

For adults, the menu will also include a vibrant prickly pear margarita featuring LALO Blanco Tequila, lime, agave, and prickly pear. Judging by the photos Disney shared, it may end up being one of the most Instagram-worthy drinks in Magic Kingdom this fall.

If you’re worried this means saying goodbye to The Diamond Horseshoe’s popular Thanksgiving-style meal, Disney says there’s no need. Those family-style favorites will continue to be served next door at Liberty Tree Tavern throughout the pop-up’s run.
Disney also confirmed that reservations will be offered, although walk-up guests will be welcome as well. Additional menu items, reservation details, and opening information will be announced at a later date.
From the first look alone, this feels like a fun new addition for Frontierland where guests can slow down with a specialty cocktail and a few shareable bites. This limited-time offering is one we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on as more details are revealed.
