Several new flavors of pre-packaged popcorn have been introduced at the U.S. Disney theme parks. The Main Street Popcorn Company line has expanded to add six new flavors.
These new tastes are Sriracha kettle corn, parmesan garlic, kettle corn with red alaea salt, truffle, churro and maple bacon. The stores will continue offering caramel, kettle corn, cheddar, and confetti flavors.
In addition to the new flavors, new packaging was designed for the line by Jeff Granito, who also worked on the artwork for the upcoming Magic Kingdom 45th anniversary celebration.
Patrice Guy, who works in Disney merchandising, says, “”This is the first time since the Main Street Popcorn Company line was introduced that we’ve done a complete packaging update to the program. We also have several new and unique flavors that complement traditional flavors our guests love.”
Patrice commented that maple bacon is the most popular of the new flavors, and the churro flavor is very popular at the Disneyland Resort.
The new popcorn flavors can be found in multiple merchandise locations.
